Dustin Crook

Background

Born and raised in Lyon County, Kansas, Dustin brings small-town values and a strong work ethic to his practice. Dustin has a record of success obtaining real results for his clients.

Dustin started his own practice in 2015 after three years at a Topeka, Kansas law firm that focused on complex civil litigation and personal injury cases. In 2017, Dustin partnered with attorney Caleb Biesterveld to form Biesterveld & Crook, LLC.

Practice

Dustin is licensed to practice in both state and federal courts in Kansas and Missouri. He specializes in personal injury and wrongful death cases involving car accidents, slip and falls, and defective products. Dustin represents people suffering from an array of injuries, including brain and spine injuries, and his practice also includes complex real estate, business, and construction litigation.

Awards

Dustin was named a Super Lawyer’s “Rising Star“, a “Top Ten Attorney” by the National Association of Personal Injury Attorneys, and a “Top Car Accident Attorney” by Avvo.com. Dustin is a member of the Earl E. O’Conner American Inns of Court, the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association, and the Johnson County Bar Association.

Dustin is also an Army combat veteran. He served in Iraq in 2004 where he provided security for military supply convoys and drove a 40-foot, 34-ton flatbed semitrailer delivering food, equipment, and ammunition to the front lines. Dustin was awarded the Army Commendation Medal for “Meritorious service in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.”

When not advocating for his clients, Dustin enjoys reading and spending time with his wife and three young children.
